BACTESTER MP1 is an advanced microbial fluorescence imaging device from Japan that enables rapid enumeration of bacteria without conventional culturing.
By combining fluorescent staining technology with a high-resolution CMOS sensor, BACTESTER can detect and count viable and injured bacteria directly from a sample in 5 seconds.
Designed for fast, on-site microbial monitoring, BACTESTER provides a practical solution for quality control, hygiene management, and process monitoring across a wide range of industries.
BACTESTER can be applied to various types of samples and inspection processes, including:
Obtain bacterial count information in seconds without waiting for conventional culture results.
Direct fluorescence-based enumeration eliminates the need for incubation and culture media during measurement.
In addition to viable bacteria, BACTESTER can detect injured bacteria that may not readily grow under conventional culture conditions.
Its compact design and approximately 2.4 kg weight allow testing to be performed close to the production site.
The intuitive system is designed to allow testing by non-specialized personnel once an appropriate sample preparation procedure has been established.
Suitable for liquids, solid samples, swabs, and airborne bacteria collected using air samplers, subject to appropriate sample preparation.
